I’m looking forward to reading what you have to say, Dean. I hope you don’t get into a competitive frame of mind with Debbie and her blog – “I’ve got more followers than you have, ha ha” etc. It’s going to be interesting reading a male/female description of what’s happening in your new home. “Land” rings a bell with me here in Cambodia. So much land grabbing is going on and done by wealthy people with government connections. Many poorer folk returned to their traditional areas after the Khmer Rouge area, but with no documents to prove ownership. They get evicted, land is then sold to people (often from overseas) who want to clean up dirty money. In Nigeria they used to say, “When elephants fight it’s the grass that shakes”. It goes on everywhere but an important step is to let the world know it’s happening, so good luck and safe travels. Peter
